Miami Beach, Florida
Sagamore Hotel
This 130-room hotel next to the Delano in South Beach was totally gutted to the exterior walls and restored into an incredible 93-key all-suite hotel. Today this property is recognized as one of the premier art-deco hotels in Miami Beach.
The hotels' main lobby welcomes visitors with cool terrazzo floors, white rounded columns, original chrome and brass-plated security boxes and a pink marble lobby desk. The building's status as a historic landmark meant that all construction and renovation had to be approved by the Miami Beach Design Review Board.
The pool of the Sagamore is an L-shaped infinity design facing the ocean. Next to the pool is the "Cabana Bungalow" building that houses 16 two-story duplex suites and a Penthouse cabana with it's own rooftop terrace.
